Air Travel

You will be arriving at the St. John’s International Airport (YYT) in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada with numerous daily air travel connections between St. John’s and Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Western Canada and New York.

For International Travelers there are daily flights between St. John’s and major hubs in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.

Once here, it’s less than a 10 minute drive to the City centre, and conference facilities.

For a letter of invitation, we will need the following information in order to properly prepare that letter:

  • Complete name (as it appears on your Passport)
  • Date of birth
  • Address and telephone number for where you are staying (if you are staying someplace other than the Delta Hotel)
  • Approximate dates when you are entering and leaving Canada

Please allow sufficient time when requesting the letter in order to have your application for VISA to be approved.

Other air travel information

Most established international airlines fly into Canada, with the largest hub being Pearson International Airport located in Toronto, Ontario. Within Canada there are convenient schedules and flight times featuring a wide variety of international and connector airlines, including Air Canada (Star Alliance), WestJet, Porter Airlines and Continental Airlines.
